Today, a juror at Diddy’s trial took a new twist as he provided some suspicious answers about his right to residency. If the legal team of a troubled music tycoon worked hard, the firing could lead to a mistake.
Why did Diddy’s jurors exit service?
Diddy’s trial continued on Monday (June 16), and the jury was frustrated by the jury. Jurors No. 6 were eliminated for sex trafficking and racket trials due to inconsistencies in their residences. The jury members were correctional church accountants and were one of the two black men who ultimately decided Didi’s fate. The alternative juror who was removed was white.
During the jury selection in early May, the man said he lives in the Bronx, but that was obviously not the case. As the trial last week proceeded, now-long jurors reportedly told court staff that he had recently moved to New Jersey.
The defense has serious concerns about race, as there is only one black male juror left, and Judge Allen Sabramania will take this into consideration. However, the judge said: “This jury did not raise these concerns” and was “not suitable for consideration of race” to determine whether the juror’s answer was suitable for his residence.
The judge learned about the inconsistencies among jurors last Friday (June 13) and made today’s decision. Judge Subramanian said of juror No. 6: “The record’s candidness to the juror and whether he was covered up and left in the jury’s covert answers.
Will there be a crime in Didi’s case?
Diddy’s legal team was not satisfied with the removal and replacement of the jurors, and the rap businessman wanted a wrong hearing based on the judge’s ruling. On Sunday evening (June 15), TMZ reported that the defense lawyers of the founder of Bad Boy Records submitted a letter on prosecutors’ questions about inconsistent answers to jurors and claimed that the government was using pretending to dismiss jurors based on their race.
Didi feels that if this particular juror is dismissed, he should commit a crime. Now that the man has been formally tried, it seems that the imminent paperwork is imminent. Diddy’s team has requested a crime in legal proceedings and has been denied.
Is there another jury question?
Another jury member may have a problem. The matter was part of a discussion on the court’s brief closure of the public on Friday. However, the judge did not address the concerns of the second juror today.
