Master P and Birdman are turning decades of history, rivalry and Southern hip-hop into one of the biggest tours of the year.
Master P is putting business over beef, and it might be the smartest move of the year.
A few years ago, the No Limit boss and Cash Money’s Birdman officially teamed up for a major tour, something that might have been out of the question for some. If there’s one thing both of these Southern tycoons understand, it’s how to turn nostalgia into revenue.
The upcoming show will be headlined by Master P and Birdman, with special guest Lil Boosie, and will bring together two of the most influential brands in hip-hop history. No Limit and Cash Money were once, and probably still are, competing empires. But now they understand the common cause.

We still remember the controversial No Limit vs. Cash Verzuz battle. Although it was fun, it was also stressful. Lil Wayne is missing Birdman and P have feuds at times. But then Master P did what Master P did. The colonel danced a few steps and left in triumph. Whether you think No Limit won musically or not, P definitely won over the audience.

Now, instead of facing each other, they stood side by side.
The tour begins in Houston on September 11 and ends in Cleveland on November 15. The itinerary was packed, with several popular Southern markets including Atlanta. East Coast fans may feel a little overlooked, but they know where the bread and butter is.
Old competition can become new opportunities. The East Coast should take note.
What do you think? Have you ever wanted to stop in and watch Cash Money and No Limit perform on the same stage?
