This is a new extended series from Dayton, Ohio host Lee Carver. Following 2015’s solo debut Massacre Mask, he became the third and final member to join the almighty Alla Xul Elu, and the Hail Evil founder has been sending shockwaves through the underground evil shit scene since 2018, known for combining edgy horrorcore lyrics with boom bap and industrial hip-hop instrumentals. His second feature, Meathead: Satan’s Steakhouse, came out last winter, and he’s back again for Dismemberment 2.
After the “New Release” intro, “The House Demands a Host” begins welcoming everyone back to Hell, while “Serlated” expresses his hatred for humanity. “Mr. Meathook” has a weirder beat, describing a man who makes your wishes his commands, while “Bump in the Night” features the Mutanoid Underground Dwellers and is dedicated to the sickos who don’t care.
“Rotting Flesh Rewind” kicks off the second half of the EP and spits out some creepy evil shit, filled with gruesome imagery, before “Blood Shed” takes a slow and morbid approach instrumentally so Carver can keep talking about the murders, before “Corpse Funnel”, the last song before the “Satan Steakhouse Theme” outro, brings it back to the murder at 44 and a half minutes.
In preparation for the LLE medley at the 26th Annual Gathering of Juggalos later this summer and the introduction of the next member of the Skinner family, my personal favorite Alla Xul Elu member Lee Carver continues the story of Meathead: Satan’s Steakhouse’s eponymous character, a character we were set to tell six months ago with Dismemberment Night 2, and uses this as an opportunity to flesh out his story with a decent cameo to provide more context for the dark production.
Score: 8/10
