Tyler, The Creator and Pharrell Williams have a long history of working together, and now they’ve reunited on a new track called “Virgina Boy.”
Pharrell last week unveiled the tracklist for Piece By Piece, the soundtrack to his Lego animated movie about the iconic musician’s life and career. The project features five new songs, including “Virginia Boy,” “It’s Happening,” “L’EGO Odyssey,” “For Real” and the title track “Piece By Piece,” featuring Taylor.
“VIRGINIA Boy” definitely reminds us of some of P’s work in his prime, when he produced and rapped about the monsters in Neptunes. Please listen below. The film opens in theaters today and stars JAY-Z, Timbaland, Gwen Stefani, Justin Timberlake, Daft Punk and more.
