Drake’s YouTube channel was hit by two unauthorized uploads, including a fake 1 minute and 47 second troll diss titled “Kendrick a Meanie” in a mass platform leak.
Drake’s YouTube channel was attacked by online trolls this weekend, and whoever did it was unabashedly sarcastic.
The attack was part of a massive breach of major artists on YouTube and Apple Music on July 26 and 27.
During the incident, two unauthorized tracks appeared on Drake’s verification page. One is Kendrick Lamar’s Grammy Award-winning diss song “Not Like Us” and the other is a fake 1 minute and 47 second troll upload called “Kendrick a Meanie (Diss).”
The thumbnail for “Kendrick a Meanie” shows a character rapping in a children’s day care center. The lyrics include lines like: “There’s a spoon in my hand/You eat the soup with a fork/There’s some cheese in my sock/The rest of your nachos”

The background is filled with toy cars, stuffed animals and colorful plastic balls, and overlapping text directs viewers to follow two Instagram accounts. The caption reads “It’s true” and “Go see Kendrick’s reaction,” leaning entirely into the joke.
It’s underneath Drake’s name, which still has the verified check mark on it.
The leak extends far beyond Drake’s channel, affecting more than a dozen high-profile artists within the same window. Unauthorized uploads have appeared on the pages of Kanye West, Playboi Carti, Travis Scott and several others.
Playboi Carti’s page was hit the hardest, with more than 20 leaked songs removed at once, while Lamar’s channel briefly showcased two unreleased songs.
X and Reddit posts were quick to clarify that this was not a traditional hack. Whoever succeeded reportedly took advantage of a lax music publisher called OffStepMusic, using it to release songs under the artist’s name.
YouTube’s automated matching system then routes these uploads directly to the official page. X’s last widely shared post made it clear: the attackers didn’t crack any passwords, they just found a service with “almost no moderation.”
Drake’s page drew the most attention, as “Not Like Us” holds real weight in hip-hop history.
Kendrick Lamar released the film in May 2024 as a final blow to one of the genre’s most intense feuds in years.
The feud erupted in 2023 after Drake and J. Cole dubbed themselves the “Big Three” alongside Lamar, with Kendrick immediately denying the framing. Nine diss songs followed, with “Not Like Us” being the hardest to get.
The track went on to win five Grammy Awards and headlined Lamar’s Super Bowl halftime show in February 2025.
In October 2025, Drake’s defamation lawsuit against Universal Music Group over the song was dismissed by a federal judge, who ruled that the lyrics were protected artistic views. Drake appealed the ruling, allowing the legal battle to continue in the 2nd Circuit.
As of this writing, neither Drake nor YouTube have released a public statement regarding the leak, but users are loving the song.
“Kendrick has been quiet since this news broke,” one user said. Another added: “Who’s number one here before this!”
