While promoting “Fightland” on TODAY, 50 Cent has released a new “Street Fighter” track featuring Eminem and an unreleased 2Pac Vault.
50 Cent went on TODAY to talk about his new STARZ series, finally dropping one of the biggest music announcements of the year.
While promoting Fightland , which premieres July 31 on STARZ, 50 casually revealed that he has a new record featuring Eminem and the late 2Pac. “I do some stuff now, me, Eminem and Tupac,” he told the host. “This is actually the theme song from the movie Street Fighter.”
The song is based on Pac’s previously unreleased Vault actual recordings and does not involve any artificial intelligence-generated sounds, a distinction that 50 went to great lengths to make.
As the music industry continues to grapple with artificial intelligence and the acceptability of posthumous releases, this release has the full support of the Music Industry Association. “We worked on it and it was successful,” he said, adding that Parker’s family and estate “loved it.”

What makes this moment truly historic is that there is no official record that puts Eminem and 2Pac on the same track.
Pac was murdered in 1996, five years before Em became a big name in rap, so the two never got the chance to share records while Pac was alive.
Now, nearly thirty years later, film scores are accomplishing what was impossible back then.
G-Unit’s connection to this whole thing is deep-rooted. 50’s career was built under Eminem’s Shady Records and Dr. Dre’s Aftermath, so their musical bond goes back more than 20 years.
50 first teased Eminem’s collaboration with the Street Fighter project back in December, but there was no mention of Pac, so the addition of the late rap legend was a major upgrade that no one saw coming.
50 Played Balrog in the live-action Street Fighter reboot, starring alongside Jason Momoa, Noah Centineo, Roman Reigns and Cody Rhodes. He’s also doing his own stunts for the role, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed during production.
The film is set in 1993 and directed by Kitao Sakurai.
“Street Fighter” will be released on October 16, 2026.
