Gucci Mane addressed the alleged kidnapping and robbery by Pooh Shiesty head-on with new track “Crash Dummy,” released April 10, 2026.
On the Zaytoven-produced song, Gucci raps: “Tell the truth, you went out like a real crash dummy / And after all that, boy, you still signed to me” and “I thought it was a business meeting, but it was a set up / I walk in the room, you can feel the pressure building.”
Federal prosecutors allege Pooh Shiesty, his father, Big30, and six others lured Gucci to a Dallas recording studio on Jan. 10, 2026, where Shiesty allegedly pulled an AK-style pistol and forced Gucci to sign paperwork releasing Shiesty from his 1017 contract. The group allegedly robbed Gucci and associates of cash, jewelry, and valuables.
Pooh Shiesty, Big30, and others face kidnapping, conspiracy, and extortion charges. Trial is set for Feb. 22, 2027. All nine defendants face life if convicted.
