Fans have been wanting Drake and Kendrick Lamar to trade diss tracks for over a decade, and despite their frequent subconscious shots at each other, it looked like it would never come to fruition. That is, until “Like That” disappeared.
Since then, the battle has become a major talking point in the hip-hop community, most recently with Kendrick’s “Euphoria,” a six-and-a-half-minute scathing diss track that has people layering on Peel back and it only gets better. This morning, Kendrick responded again with “6:16 in LA,” but tonight, Drake is back with his response.
It’s a long song called “FAMILY MATTERS” with a music video. please look below. On Drake’s Instagram, he posted a snippet of another song from Take Care’s “Buried Alive,” which you’ll remember as Kendrick’s song on Take Care. Check it out below too.
