“She just wanted to quit.”
Florida-based TikTok user Omar (@lostwithomar) said he and his girlfriend were kicked out of a Daytona Chick-fil-A drive-thru after a teenage employee accused them of inappropriate behavior during a mobile order pickup, but he said his dash cam refutes the accusation.
Why did Chick-fil-A employees kick out this Florida couple?
“We were just falsely accused of something very specific,” Omar said. He described a quick trip to the Chick-fil-A drive-thru that included an informal conversation with his girlfriend about a recent bad trip to Taco Bell. He said an underage employee took their cell phone order. A few minutes later a manager showed up.
“She said we needed to leave, and I asked her, ‘Why do we need to leave?'” He said the manager refused to explain, then said “I guess the minors had seen us do something inappropriate when she asked us to order.” He said she then walked away without giving her name.
He said a second manager later clarified the accusation: “Omar’s girlfriend’s head was between my thighs in the drive-thru while we were talking to her,” the teen claimed. Omar shot back. “When she came to the window, we all made eye contact with her. What’s the significance of that? We’ve recorded it.”
Omar welcomed them despite police threats. “Call the police because we… I have a dash cam.” He said he didn’t receive the shipment, and Chick-fil-A refunded his order. The couple also noted that the alleged employee drove away shortly after. Omar said the company had been notified.
Let’s see what well-meaning people have to say.

“Is the video in the car a video in the car or just a recording?” someone asked. In fact, Omar did post the clip as a follow-up on his page.
The video doesn’t show what happened inside, but the audio is there, and there doesn’t appear to be any extracurricular activity going on. But there are still some who seem oddly prepared for Chick-fil-A, or to play devil’s advocate.
“Everyone in the comments uses ‘you can’t see them’ as the reason [skeptical]” said one person. “The audio is enough to mark the timeline of when they were talking to employees and confirming orders. Just because they paused for a little bit doesn’t mean they’re going to get around to doing something like this. Come on, guys, use your heads? They’re in a drive-thru; they can just sit back and wait for their food.”
One commenter noted: “Not sure if this helps but Chick-fil-A has cameras in the drive-thru too!!!”
Omar replied that he knew about it and wanted to see it.
Failing to Survive Charges on Videotape
This isn’t the first time a customer’s recording has affected a business’s account. In 2018, local police approached Alexis Brison and a friend at a Missouri Applebee’s and asked them to pay before leaving because staff said they believed the women had eaten at the restaurant the day before and left without paying. Brisson filmed the encounter. “Black people cannot continue to be treated like this, especially during Black History Month. This is a clear example of racial profiling and should not be tolerated,” she wrote in the Facebook post, which has been shared more than 3.6 million times. Three employees were laid off and the location was closed.
In May, in South Carolina, food critic Ben A Critic said the owner and manager of Percy & Willie’s touched, leaned on and pushed him multiple times before calling 911. “What did I do wrong? I actually sat down and ordered food,” he says in the video. But things got worse, he said: “It was very uncomfortable to be in this situation. There were a lot of angry people around me, and they all had knives.”
AllHipHop reached out to Omar via TikTok private messages and comments, and contacted Chick-fil-A via email. We will update this story if there is any response.
@lostwithomar, I honestly can’t believe I recorded this video of me and my girlfriend being wrongly accused of a serious crime at a drive thru chick. We are embarrassed and frustrated by the way we were treated and have filed a complaint and called the company to let them know we have DASHCAM footage of our treatment and the entire drive thru experience. Honestly, it felt like we were being racially profiled. On top of that, the minor who accused us was seen giggling with other co-workers and looking at our vehicle as we drove to the parking lot. We honestly can’t believe it..@Chick-fil-A ♬ Original Sound – omar⁷
