Rick Ross’ move to go after Roc-A-Fella co-founder Kareem “Biggs” Burke shocked everyone, but many thought Jay-Z was done with the feud before it got messy.
Rick Ross backs off after mentioning Kareem “Biggs” Burke, everyone thinks Jay-Z made decision
Rick Ross may finally realize he stepped in shit.
The Miami rap mogul recently took aim at Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder Kareem “Biggs” Burke. And, you know, he’s someone we respect as well. He was a powerful figure, but behind the scenes. To those who truly understand the culture, Biggs is much more than just another executive. He was considered a man of wealth, a strategist, and, depending on who you asked, a powerful man. He reportedly bankrolled the early rise of the entire Roc-A-Fella movement.
That’s why we were shocked when Ross started taking shots at not only Biggs, but fellow podcasters Rory and Mal as well. Mal and Biggs are brothers. Not helpful!
Confusingly, no one seems to know exactly what sparked the tension. I want to know!

We all turned to Drake because Rory and Mal kept defending him. They like Drake over there. Joe Budden has also been dragged into the controversy, but only because they were once on his show. Then there was a twist.
Rose took a step back. Completely.
Rick Ross releases latest statement regarding Biggs.
“Yes, Biggs Burke…you have someone who truly loves you, let me just leave it at that…oh, I love that person too”. https://t.co/cMqx98wnY9 pic.twitter.com/KKIPCtCRjV

In a rare move for Hip-Hop, Rozay walked back his remarks. It even felt like an apology, which was unusual.
The rumors came.
Rumors now hold that Rose was contacted privately to tell him to relax. Most people pointed the finger directly at Jay. Like in Jay-Z.
No one confirmed that it was the boss of Dapeng who made the call, but the energy transfer was too fast and it couldn’t have been someone else. Biggs maintains a relationship with Jay. He has earned the respect of generations in the music industry. You don’t play with Biggs.
Invisible forces remain.
For now, whatever issues there are seem to be over before they really begin.
I’m sure Mal and Rory will say something.
