Future returns to the rap scene with his tenth solo album, The Real Me .
Hendrix and Spotify teamed up to announce the upcoming release of the Atlanta rapper’s new project, “The Real Me,” on Monday (June 15). In the promo, which can be seen below, the words “Future The Real Me” appear in black ink against a fiery red background. The Spotify logo is also present, indicating that the album is exclusive to the streaming platform. A release date has not yet been announced.
The promo comes after Pluto hinted that he was working on new music. Back in March, the Freebandz leader confirmed on Twitter that he was in “album mode” after several unreleased tracks surfaced online.
“The Real Me” will be Future’s first music project following the albums “We Don’t Trust You” and “We Still Don’t Trust You” released in 2024 with Metro Boomin. In May, the 42-year-old rapper and producer reunited with Drake on Iceman’s “Ran to Atlantic,” featuring Molly Santana, officially quashing rumors that he and Drizzy were feuding.
Future also collaborated with Tyla to create the 2026 FIFA World Cup theme song “Game Time”. The pair performed their song at the opening ceremony of the 2026 FIFA World Cup USA at SoFi Arena in Inglewood, California on Friday (June 12).
