A man has been arrested by 6ix9ine’s family in connection with a home invasion last month.
Police charged Pedro Rodriguez, 19, with armed home invasion, false imprisonment, theft and possession of marijuana with intent to sell.
TMZ reported that the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said Rodriguez was just one of the suspects and they were still looking for others.
On November 16, four gunmen broke into 6ix9ine’s house in Florida while he was not home. They slipped into the garage and held his 60-year-old mother outside while they rummaged through the garage looking for cash and car keys.
Surveillance video captured a man guarding his mother as she begged the men. The crew sped off in a getaway car before police showed up. Police said the suspects wanted money and car keys during the robbery.
People on social media went crazy accusing Island Boy of being behind the break-in. But 6ix9ine cleared up these rumors during a live broadcast with Adin Ross.
“There are 230 homes in my neighborhood,” he said. “It was a kid from the neighborhood who did it. No tattoos, so the rumor that it was two brothers did it, that’s just a rumor, it’s an Instagram conspiracy.”

6ix9ine explained that the suspects looked young and he thought they were local kids who saw him at work and jumped at the chance.
The arrest comes as 6ix9ine faces legal issues of his own. In December, he was sentenced to three months in federal prison for violating the terms of his supervised release.
The judge also ordered him to complete drug and mental health treatment after serving his sentence. 6ix9ine will report to the Metropolitan Detention Center in Sunset Park, Brooklyn, on January 6th.
