If you thought Yung Miami was bombarded with trolls on social media bombarding her with comments saying she was “freaking out” in the wake of Diddy’s sexual assault lawsuit, then guess again because New Orleans locals are now being hunted she.
In this case, it all started with a semi-tone-deaf tweet in response to a fan’s tweet on Twitter (X) requesting Yung Miami to show up in New Orleans.
“I really hate it there!” Rong Miami replied quickly.
Of course, when Nora became the talk of the town and Yung Miami chose to “do bad things,” the levee began to buzz with comments from disgruntled locals who had had enough.
“Jung Miami is a watered-down dollar bounce artist who hates the buzz of New Orleans. A true bounce music artist who is killing her entire musical library. You can’t take the sauce, run with it, and then end up in the near Despise this culture ten years later,” one Twitter (X) user pointed out.
However, an Instagram user named @winsleymelan drug Miami seemed to be totally in trouble on Instagram after she pointed out the City Girls rapper’s history of blatantly appropriating New Orleans classics for her own benefit. From sampling Choppa’s “Choppa Style” on her platinum hit “Twerk” to her reliance on artists like Juvenile and Magnolia Shorty, Winsley took all of Miami’s money, drawing inspiration from Miami without giving it proper credit . Not to mention, in 2018, Drake brought City Girls to the New Orleans stage, which proved to be one of the biggest collaborative moments of their early careers.
what do you think? Should Miami rethink her relationship with New Orleans or simply embrace the Bayou Ban here and exclude Bounce Music and its artists from her next album?
