UK rap met North African drill on one stage as a major London venue hosted a collaborative showcase in the last 24 hours.
The event marked a cultural milestone for cross-continental hip-hop link-ups, blending London’s rap cadences with Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia’s drill scenes. Artists performed in English, Arabic, Darija, and French to a sold-out crowd.
Promoters called it “the first time North African drill got a full UK showcase without a US co-sign”. Clips show mosh pits to Arabic hooks and UK verses.
This follows last week’s viral North African showcase, proving Europe is now a launchpad for Arabic rap.
