Stormzy’s iconic Banksy-designed stab vest is taking center stage in a landmark British music exhibition opening this week.
The Union Jack bulletproof vest, worn during his historic 2019 Glastonbury headline set, is being displayed to highlight the intersection of UK grime, hip-hop, and political statement pieces.
Curators say the vest represents “the moment grime forced itself into the national conversation” on knife crime, race, and class in Britain. The exhibit also features Skepta, Wiley, and Dave memorabilia.
Stormzy called it “an honor to see the culture archived properly”.
