Ty Dolla $ign updates fans on the status of the long-delayed Vultures 2 and reveals more album collaborations with Kanye West.
Over the weekend, Ty appeared on a Kick livestream with Russian YouTuber Vitaly Zdorovetskiy, saying: “It’s being pulled as fast as possible. Condor 2 is on the way. Coming soon. Any day now. Could be tomorrow.”
The Californian singer also confirmed that the album, which was originally scheduled to be released last Friday (May 3), would not be available on streaming services such as Spotify and Apple Music.
When a fan on the live stream asked if “Vultures 2” would be available on streaming platforms or just on Kanye’s YZY app, Ty replied: “On the app.”
During his livestream with the controversial Russian streamer, Ty Dolla also played a preview of an unreleased song from Vultures 2, which included lyrics from Playboi Carti.
He also confirmed that the pair would definitely release all three of Vultures’ planned albums, before hinting at a fourth album.
“Maybe four, who knows,” he said between cigarettes and commented on how the album kept getting delayed. “Bad things happen.”

Kanye West has previously floated the idea of selling Condor 2 directly to fans.
“We sell albums on Yeezy.com. I have 20 million followers on Instagram. When 5% of my followers buy the album,” he messaged a fan account on Instagram. [t]Album sales reach 1 million copies[.] That’s 300,000 more than last year’s biggest album.
“We sold 1 million items on Yeezy.com on Super Bowl Sunday, so we knew it was possible. What do you think about us not streaming and just selling the album digitally?[?]”
The initiative was supported by Ty Dolla $ign, who responded to a fan asking him to convince Ye to release the album the traditional way.
Fans said: “Brother, don’t let Ye Chen release the album on the website, you will lose a lot. They will pirate the album, which will hinder you in a ridiculous way.”
Ty wasn’t convinced by the argument, replying with a six-paragraph message that began: “This is what these streaming services want you to believe so they can stay ahead of the curve. Making music costs us money and time, but they don’t Hopefully we get paid for this.
“Selling audience subscriptions and renting our music while giving us a small cut of the money [crying laughter emoji]. I hear what you’re saying, but we’re already number one.
He concluded: “It’s time to figure out how to bring music directly to our audiences and eliminate the middle man. Artists are being raped and this has to stop.
