Polo G was reportedly jailed over the weekend after being arrested on gun charges in California.
Polo G arrested again on gun charges
On Monday (October 21), TMZ first reported that Chicago rapper Polo G was booked in the Los Angeles area on October 19 and is currently in jail. Police later discovered a loaded handgun in Polo’s vehicle and he was taken into custody on a felony charge of possession of a concealed weapon. Polo is currently being held at Valley Jail in Van Nuys, California, according to police records obtained by XXL.
XXL has reached out to Polo G’s team, his attorney and the Los Angeles Police Department for comment.

Other illegal activities by Polo G
Polo G has had several run-ins with the law over the past few years. In June 2021, he was arrested in Miami for resisting arrest and assaulting a police officer. That September, he was arrested again in Los Angeles for carrying a concealed weapon.
He was charged with possession of a firearm after his Los Angeles home was raided by police last August and seven weapons were reportedly found in his home. Back in April, Polo was arrested again for gun possession in New York. The arrest came after a cleaning staff at the Dominican Hotel in downtown Manhattan found a gun in the 25-year-old rapper’s room and notified police. He was charged with unlawful possession of a weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm.
Polo G released his latest album, Hood Poet, in August.
