Nicki Minaj has settled her relationship with a gossip blogger who called her an “addict” in 2022.

Nicki Minaj settles ‘addict’ accusations with gossip blogger

Nicki Minaj has reached a settlement with gossip blogger Marley Green, aka Nosy Heaux, according to court documents obtained by XXL. The rap superstar originally sued Greene for defamation in September 2022, claiming Greene allegedly made malicious remarks about her in a video in which Nicki was called a “junkie.” Additionally, the Pink Friday 2 rhyme claims that Green also made vicious comments about Nicki’s then-1-year-old son.

In the agreement, Green admitted and admitted to making false statements about Nikki’s use of cocaine. She also apologized for those false statements about Nicki. Additionally, Green promised not to make any false accusations against Nikki or her son in the future.

Nosy Heaux Cannot Violate Four Counts of Defamation Against Nicki

While Nicki Minaj didn’t receive punitive damages, the settlement did include a provision that Marley Green (aka Nosy Heaux) would have to pay damages if she violated Nicki Minaj’s four counts of defamation.

The four violations are:

(I) She will never make any statements, directly or indirectly, about Nicki. [Nicki] Have engaged in any criminal or immoral behavior, or otherwise engaged in behavior that has a negative impact on society [Nicki’s] (III) She will never directly or indirectly retweet, otherwise post on social media or publicly rehearse statements of others (including, but not limited to, any statements published in any media) asserting facts or opinions: [Nicki] Has engaged in criminal or unethical conduct, or otherwise acted in a manner that undermines his or her integrity. [Nicki’s] Husband or children in public, each shall be deemed an express third party beneficiary of this provision.

If Green violates the agreement, she will have to pay Nikki $50,000 for each violation.
