Dr. Dre recently revealed that he wants to try out archery at the 2028 Olympics in his hometown of Los Angeles. While many fans may scoff at the idea, there’s one knowledgeable expert who’s excited about the prospect: two-time Olympic gold medalist Justin Housh. The Cali native actually asked the legendary producer to train with him, telling TMZ Sports that he was excited about the idea regardless of the 59-year-old.

“Anyone can do this at any age,” Justin Huish said of Dr. Dre. “There’s actually no age limit. You can be a genius and you don’t know it. I’ll go to your house. I’ll train you. I’ll spend time training with you. If you’re really serious about this, come on Come to me! “I had it in my backyard and I heard the Olympic qualification was 77 feet. The height I practiced at was 90 feet,” Dre said of his past archery history and how he puts in a lot of time. After studying music, he picked up archery again. As long as he doesn’t displace a more deserving athlete, it would be great for him to represent his hometown when it comes to hosting the next Olympics.

However, Dr. Dre was also critical of this year’s event, especially the breakdancing contestants. “I don’t like it,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “There are so many great breakdancers, I don’t know why they let this particular one do it.” Of course, many believe these comments are referring to Aussie B-Girl Raygun and her viral moves, but we’re not sure. Regardless, sadly, whether you like it this time or not, the event will not be returning at the Los Angeles Olympics.

Elsewhere, Dr. Dre is also looking forward to completing his collaborative album with Snoop Dogg, Missionary. “This is a guy who’s going to show different levels of maturity through his lyrics and through my music,” he told Entertainment Tonight. “I feel like this is some of the best music I’ve ever made in my career. [It’s been] More fun.
