Nas and DJ Premier’s history goes way back, and if you’re in your twenties, you were born after their first collaboration. Premo produced three songs from the rapper’s classic debut album, Illmatic, and from there they went on to collaborate on at least one song on Nas’s next four albums, which were often featured on stellar records.
For decades, fans have been hoping for a full-length oeuvre from the duo, capping off an incredibly popular 2025 slate of work with the Legend Has It… series, and tonight their dream finally came true.
