A man has been arrested after he invaded Nicki Minaj’s Los Angeles mansion and refused to leave.
According to NBC 4 Los Angeles on Wednesday (April 1), a 36-year-old man, Leland Adams, allegedly tried to enter Nicki’s mansion in Calabasas, California on Wednesday morning and refused to leave despite the security team’s request. Security officers eventually had to detain Adams until deputies arrived. The Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department told NBC 4 that Adams never entered the home.
TMZ reports that Nicki Minaj and her husband, Kenneth Petty, were not home at the time of the alleged trespassing incident. The outlet described the man as a white male with long hair and a visible red beard, wearing a gray tracksuit. He remained in police custody as of the time of this report.
XXL has reached out to the Los Angeles Department of Safety for comment.
The incident comes as Nicki Minaj successfully blocked the sale of another property earlier this year, her $20 million mansion in Hidden Hills, California.
On January 22, during a final hearing to discuss whether the rap star’s home would be sold to pay a default judgment against Thomas Weidenmüller, Nikki paid the amount, halting the forced sale of her home. Weidenmiller, the New York rapper’s former security guard, sued Nicki after she accused her husband of assaulting him in 2019. Weidenmiller was awarded a $503,000 default judgment in 2024 after Nikki failed to respond to the lawsuit.
