Kanye West has confirmed the release date for his long-awaited Vultures 2 album with Ty Dolla $ign, which has already suffered multiple delays.
During an interview with Justin LaBoy on The Download podcast, which went live on Monday (April 22), Ye revealed that the project will launch on May 3.
This is consistent with the date he leaked to a Baby Keem fan page last month, when he mistakenly believed the account was the rapper’s real profile.
The follow-up to February’s “Vultures 1” was originally scheduled to be released on March 8, with the third installment set to be released on April 5.

Details are scarce on Vultures 2, but the album will likely be another star-studded event, as Kanye West and Ty Dolla $ign ) performed songs from a range of big-name artists at listening events in Miami and Las Vegas last year.
Unreleased material includes collaborations with Young Thug, Kid Cudi, Lil Wayne, Kodak Black, Lil Baby, Bad Bunny and Charlie Wilson, among others.
In March, Ye and Ty released several songs from the project through unconventional means. Those hoping to find the songs on streaming services like Spotify and Apple Music were disappointed, as several songs from the record were instead shared on TikTok and Instagram.
As some fan accounts pointed out, Young Thug and Leon Bridges’ “River” and the Backstreet Boys sample “Everybody” can both be played on social media platforms and even added as tracks to posts.
Other songs from Vultures 2 have also been released, including “Worship,” “Promotion” (featuring Future), the James Blake-assisted “Slide” and “Field Trip” (reported to feature Playboi Carti, Kodak Black, Lil Durk and Sung by Don Toliver).
While the availability of the songs suggests they were officially released by the duo, the Ye Fanatics account claims they are simply low-quality rips uploaded by fans.
“The songs in Vultures 2 released yesterday came from a fan group,” the account shared on Twitter. “The audio is distorted and sounds terrible. A Vulture producer contacted me today to clarify this. We hope to see changes within the next few hours, otherwise we will have to wait longer to see the album.
“Vultures 1” was released in early February after several delays. It debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart and sold nearly 150,000 albums in its first week.
Travis Scott, Playboi Carti, Lil Durk, Chris Brown, Freddie Gibbs, YG, Quavo, Rich The Kid and more are all in attendance.
