J Cole can’t catch a break. He was ridiculed by the rap community after he decided to apologize to Kendrick Lamar and remove his diss track from the streaming platform. Although he’s no longer involved in the fight, he was teased by Kanye West on the “Like That” remix. Now, another Compton icon, “The Game,” has decided to take to social media to attack Jermaine Cole. “Game” responded to Officially Ice’s comments, blaming Cole for the current state of the rap war. He really couldn’t hold it back.
Officially, Ace was a panelist on Joe Budden’s podcast, which means he’s been involved in the ongoing battle between Drake and Kendrick Lamar. He remembers when The Game went to war with companies like 50 Cent and G-Unit. He remembers Game putting out classic diss songs like “300 Bars N Runnin'” in the mid-2000s. “I want one of the rappers to diss Game,” Ace wrote on Twitter. “So y’all know what a real diss record is.” “Game” responded to the post by saying that his fight style It’s obsolete because it doesn’t follow the rules.

Gaming thinks Cole’s apology hurts genre
“There’s no limit to how disrespectful I can be, I can actually rap about it,” Guy responded. “Fans will choose artists who are safe for the culture at large right now.” The Compton hitmaker went on to trash the way things have changed over the past two decades before turning his attention to J. Cole. “Hip-hop/rap or whatever you call it now has been watered down,” he asserts. “Then Cole apologized and turned this shit into unsweetened Kool-Aid.” This is actually the first time “The Game” has spoken out about J. Cole’s apology. Still, given the rapper’s combative history, it’s no surprise to learn that he hates it.
The Game may be from the same city as Kendrick Lamar, but the rapper has collaborated with Dot and Drake in the past. Drake even subliminally swore at Lamar when he appeared on the rapper’s 2015 single “100.” Shortly after the game started, The Game posted a quote from Drake on Instagram, leading many fans to speculate that he had chosen 6 God’s side. He has since clarified that he is a fan of Lamar and considers him an “incredible” rapper. However, this reverence does not apply to J. Cole.
