Cardi B will be back in court in May to make Tasha K pay for allegedly violating her non-disparagement agreement 25 times.
Cardi B is taking Tasha K back to court in May, and this time she’s not just asking for money.
She’s asking a Florida bankruptcy judge to impose harsh sanctions on the YouTuber that will actually cause harm, all because Tasha K keeps violating an agreement meant to end their long-running legal battle.
A hearing is scheduled for May 6 in Fort Lauderdale, where Cardi B and her attorneys allege at least 25 separate violations of the non-disparagement agreement Tasha K agreed to when she filed for bankruptcy.
This is what happened.
Back in 2022, Cardi B was sentenced to $4 million in defamation by a jury for Tasha K’s lies spread about her online for years.
Tasha K filed for Chapter 11 bankruptcy in 2025 and as part of the agreement, she agreed to pay Cardi B approximately $1.2 million over five years and stop talking about the rapper, her husband Offset and Stefon Diggs.
Sounds simple, right? But Cardi’s team said Tasha K has been using coded language, deleting posts and finding new ways to keep the same conversation going on social media and podcasts.
Cardi B’s attorney described the violations as “intentional” and “planned.”
The filing asks the court to impose what they call “financially painful” sanctions, meaning they want the judge to make Tasha K pay if she breaks the rules again.
They’re also pushing for a clear court order forcing her to stop mentioning Cardi, Offset or Diggs on any platform or at any time.
It’s no longer just about executing a bankruptcy plan. This is about whether a court order can actually stop someone from turning beef into content.
Now a judge must decide whether Tasha K actually violated the agreement, and if so, what kind of punishment would make sense.
