Cam’ron explains why he distanced himself from Kanye West on the track “Cousins,” and Ye isn’t happy about it.
Camron had no interest in sitting down with Ye anytime soon, and the Chicago artist clearly took it personally.
On a recent episode of Talk With Flee, the Harlem rapper explained why he drew the line when it came to interviewing Kanye West.
The question centers on a song called “Cousins,” in which Ye recounts a deeply personal childhood experience involving his cousin. Camron’s response was direct and unfiltered, questioning the authenticity of Ye’s public persona.
“I don’t really care what people do in their free time, but when you’re in your 40s and want to publicly admit that you’ve been sucking dick as a teenager, I really can’t rock with you,” Camron said. “Because when you want to be gay when it’s convenient for you, you want to be gay.”
He goes on to emphasize what he sees as selective identity politics.
“I have nothing against gay people, but how can you allow yourself to be gay when things are not going well?” he asked. “Says you sucked your cousin’s cock as a kid, and on more than one occasion, you’ve been randomly sucking his cock.”
Ye angrily fired back, accusing Camren of bullying. This reaction only made the rapper more frustrated.
“I don’t understand. I hate that,” Camron said. “Someone came out and said something. I said something about what they said and now I’m the bully. Are you mad at me?”
The exchange highlighted growing tensions between the two men, with neither showing signs of easing.
Camron’s run-in with Ye isn’t his only recent conflict.
On It Is What It Is, the conversation got heated and tensions escalated dramatically when WWE star Jey Uso showed up.
Uso rushed at Cam’ron and dragged him across the table before staff and co-hosts separated them.
The moment quickly went viral, sparking debate over whether the feud was real or staged to hype WrestleMania.
