The 2026 XXL freshman class has been implemented. This year’s rookies – Chris Patrick, La Reezy, Belly Gang Kushington, YKNiece, Skrilla, Trim, Hurricane Wisdom, Babyfxce E, Trap Dickey, Slayr, Sosocamo and 10th place winner Miles Minnick – are ready for the world. Now, they’re faced with the most humbling experience of the entire freshman experience: mean comments.
Rappers love having their egos rubbed. But year after year, we throw freshmen into difficult situations and see how they respond to being attacked. This year, the Trim-less class will rise to the challenge and respond to the most unkind criticism from its critics on social media and streaming platforms.
Thankfully, the XXL freshman class of 2026 is mostly thick-skinned. Belly Gang Kushington was quick to shoot down comments about his weight, while Trap Dickey didn’t care when someone teased him about his cross-eyes. Slayr had an interesting reaction to being labeled a “fat voice” and called for the suspension of an X account that compared him to Diddy. Sosocamo refutes accusations of industry mills, but hearing that “no one cares” about his music makes him feel a certain way. One comment even had YKNiece ready to give in.
The Internet is a cruel place, but these freshmen know how to fight back. See Chris Patrick, La Reezy, Belly Gang Kushington, YKNiece, Skrilla, Hurricane Wisdom, Babyfxce E, Trap Dickey, Slayr, Sosocamo and Miles Minnick applaud in the comments section below.
