This is a new extended performance by South Bronx, New York emcee Seth Narley, and the 10th track on his album. In 2019, he launched his debut EP on Crosby at 5am, followed by the “Trissland” trilogy, and 3 more EPs in 2024: “Night at the Roxy”, “A Millbrook Story” and “SALY” (Still Ain’t Lie Yet). However, after wrapping up “American Dreams: The Dealer’s Son” and “Ocean: Mondrian,” he is competing in the Prada Cup in the south of France.
“Jordan on the Bottom Line” begins with a soulful 109-second Jazz opening that compares himself to my favorite basketball player of all time, while “$2,000 for the Knicks” uses a gospel sampler to talk about betting on his home team in the NBA playoffs without tripping over it because of his biased instincts. “Unplugged from Marsielle” kicks off the second half of the EP with a drumless loop, acknowledging that his brother took his own life, while “Celia Cruz & Gloria Estefan” ends on a jazzier note, talking about being worth $1 million.
Last weekend, Adam Copeland and Christian Cage witnessed FTR’s record-setting AEW World Tag Team Championship at Double or Nothing VIII, surpassing All Out III to become the company’s best PPV ever. Just a few days later, Seth Narley kicked off summer a few weeks early with a range of drum-less sample techniques from Creestal, ranging from jazz to soul, reminding us of the symbolism of Luna Rossa’s commissioned sneaker to end in Marseille.
