Remy Ma’s new verse on Fat Joe and Cool & Dre’s “Outta Control” has caught the attention of many fans on social media. Additionally, their concerns stemmed from her opening bar, which cited her 2008 convictions for assault, possession of an illegal weapon and the attempted coercion shooting death of colleague Makeda Barnes-Joseph in 2007. What will I do to the ab***h I can’t stand,” Eazy The Block Captain said as he breathed fire into the wound. “Why does Remy Ma start this song like this?” one fan shared online, with another adding: “Sister, this is not what you think. This is so bad.”
Additionally, sadly, Remy Ma is dealing with a lot of alleged crime within her family, as her son, Jayson Scott, was recently charged with murder. “When I caught them, I had no idea who they were called,” she said recently. She lashed out at three mysterious figures whose connection to her son’s murder was unclear at press time, and Totally speculative. “Hit them on the cheek and that’s it. And they know it.”
“Outta Control” by Fat Joe, Remy Ma, Cool & Dre: Flow
“We support Jason’s innocence and pray that the NYPD conducts a full and thorough investigation and the truth is revealed,” Ma told TMZ. “This is undoubtedly a difficult time for me and my family. Although We sincerely appreciate the outpouring of love and support, but we ask that you respect our privacy as our legal team works hard to prove Jason’s innocence.”
In the meantime, we can only guess at Fat Joe’s reaction to these new Remy Martin bars, and as Terror Squad partners, we suspect they’re simply out of sync. She still has to deal with some fallout from the whole Eazy The Block Captain thing, as Cassidy recently released a diss song about him that referenced some of the scandal. Clearly, there’s a lot of bad stuff to spread out there. Hopefully they can continue to work it out through rap battles, that’s all.
