Eminem’s hype cycle has begun. The rapper has been silent for nearly four years, but fans are moved by what he has to say on his upcoming album. Not just because he’s been gone for so long, but also because the album is provocatively titled The Death of Slim Shady. Em is closing the book on his iconic alter ego, which means he’s taking it back to the beginning of his career. 50 Cent appeared in the album trailer and called Slim a “psychopath.” However, bigger news emerged on Instagram when the rapper hinted at the album’s production.
50 Cent jumped into the comments section of the trailer for The Death of Slim Shady to further hype fans. He announced that Dr Dre, who stars him and Em, will produce the album. “This incident has caused some heated discussion,” he wrote. “Dre is back!” This is music to music for Eminem fans, as Dre played a crucial role in shaping Slim Shady’s image. He produced the rapper’s breakthrough single “My Name Is” and served as executive producer on The Slim Shady LP. He also provided rhythmic and creative input for Em’s four subsequent albums.

Eminem hasn’t worked closely with Dre in decades
Dr. Dre has been working with Eminem over the years, but his involvement has diminished. He only produced the interlude for the rapper’s latest album, Music to Be Murdered By. He was nowhere to be found in Kamikaze and only received an executive producer credit on Resurgence. 50 It sounds like Eminem and Dre are reconnecting in a more significant way than they have been in decades. The two men didn’t lose respect for each other during this time. If anything, their appreciation for each other’s abilities has grown.
Dr. Dre recently praised Eminem’s lyricism while starring in “All My Life” with James Corden. He even called Em the greatest rapper of all time. “His imagination is beyond imagination, I don’t think anyone would disagree with that,” he noted. “I think he’s the best MC ever. Quite frankly, period. I don’t think anyone who raps can touch Eminem on a mic.” See what these two have in store for Slim Shady’s final chapter , will be exciting.
