Floyd Mayweather Jr. received his second 50 Cent reward this week, with the boxing champ making headlines after being sued for $4.65 million.
Producers of Mayweather’s two upcoming fights have filed a lawsuit against him in federal court, claiming he breached his contract by agreeing to fight Mike Zambidis in Greece, according to documents obtained by XXL on Thursday (June 18). According to ESPN, the lawsuit claims that Mayweather has entered into exclusive agreements with Mike Tyson and Manny Pacquiao related to the planned fight and is seeking $6.65 million in damages ($4.65 million from Floyd and $2 million from his booking agent) as well as an emergency injunction to prevent the fight.
50 people shared a screenshot of the caption on Instagram and sarcastically offered financial assistance.
“Champion, if you need help, I’m here,” he wrote. “I realized I missed your call. I was working in Shreveport and you called me.”
Just days ago, Fife was indicted on two felony charges for allegedly writing bad checks and denounced his former friend.
Mayweather was indicted in Nevada earlier this week, accused of writing a bad check for $200,000 in late 2024 to buy a luxury watch. Prosecutors said he knowingly issued the check when the funds were insufficient. His team has yet to respond publicly to the allegations.
Floyd Mayweather Jr. also faces civil lawsuits in four states over claims such as unpaid bills for goods and services, as well as a $7.2 million tax lien held by the Internal Revenue Service for allegedly unpaid taxes.
