Prosecutors at the KSOO murder trial are using a song by Yungeen Ace and an Instagram post as evidence.
Prosecutors in KSOO trial present songs and social media evidence
On the fifth day in Jacksonville, Florida (July 29), the Duval County Court continued the murder. Prosecutors called up the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office Sgt. Christopher Smith summarizes the evidence that led to the arrest of KSOO and its code personnel (Leroy Whitaker, Abdul Robinson Jr. and Dominique Barner) for the murder of Charles McCormick. Ksoo and Whitaker are currently under trial, while Barner has plea agreement in exchange for his testimony.
Smith officials explained that he used surveillance videos, cell phone records, dashboard cam videos, witness accounts, and evidence including casings, weapons, stolen cars, cell phones and social media accounts. Smith also listed a song that released two years ago was before the killing of Yungeen Ace called “KSO Murders” that Ace said he wanted KSOO to kill people. Additionally, Smith made an Instagram post shared by Ksoo after the murder, which showed a photo of McCormick with the title “Goodbye, Goodbye, Goodbye.”
KSOO’s defense team refuted the song, and IG posts evidence that there was no evidence that Ksoo committed the crime.

Ksoo’s father testifies to him
KSOO and his code staff are accused of shooting and killing Charles McCormick in broad daylight on January 15, 2020. According to prosecutors, the murder was in revenge on McCormick’s release of a Diss song against KSOO’s half-brother Willie Addison.
Ksoo’s father, Abdul Robinson Sr., was charged with murder, in fact, after the incident, the murder was in a car to two suspects after the incident. He testified as part of the plea agreement on Monday (July 28). Robinson Sr. told the jury that he picked up the murder until after the shooting. He said he was against his son, “the hardest thing I have to do in my life.”
KSOO murder trial is coming to an end
On Wednesday (July 30), the defense and prosecution filed an ending debate in the Whitaker case. KSOO’s lawyers spent a day calling their final witness. The final conclusion argument is expected to be made today or Thursday (July 31). Ksoo and Whitaker will be tried by a separate jury.
