Young Thug appears to have issued a public apology to his girlfriend, scientist Maria, after a series of recent prison phone calls were leaked.
On Christmas Day (December 25), Young Thug took to social media to clarify the reaction to his jail call. Thug apologizes to Maria, insisting that she knows how he feels about her.
“Sorry about all the b####### happening to my baby online. I love you baby and we both know what happened to us,” Young Thug wrote on Twitter. “AySayTwin..I love your game more than your life, Mom.”
However, his apology appears to have fallen on deaf ears. “She’s so angry,” Young Thug said in a follow-up post. “I said Merry Christmas and she said thank you.”

Earlier this week, in a jailhouse phone call that went viral, the YSL rapper admitted talking to as many as “10 girls” a day.
In the clip, Thug shares his fears about how much Maria loves him.
“[She loves me] Too many. Sometimes it’s too much,” Sager told a friend. “[It scares me how much] Because like men, if I did something, if I hit something or something like that, you’d probably be shocked.
Although Thug expresses how much he loves Maria, he admits he’ll likely be up to his old tricks once it’s released. Still, Sugg was proud because he didn’t speak to any other women for a whole week.
“But for the most part, I didn’t even call the other girls,” he added. “I don’t call other girls during the week. When I do, I usually call at least 10 other girls just to kill time.

Another leaked jail phone call shows thugs talking to Lena Said. In the photo, the Instagram model is seen sobbing on the phone, telling Thug: “I just want you.”
The video became an internet sensation not only because of Young Thug’s relationship with scientist Mariah, but also because Sayed is reportedly marrying boxer Devin Haney in 2023.
The mobster responded to the viral video, insisting Syed was his friend and professing his devotion to his girlfriend.
