No one is perfect, not even your favorite rapper. Sometimes even some of the best presenters sing some of the stupidest lyrics ever.

More than other genres, rappers need to release a lot of music to stay relevant. Obviously, this means some bad bars are bound to fall through the cracks. Some of these silly lines helped catapult the rapper to stardom. “She’s got a big ass, so I call her a big ass,” the line from 2 Chainz’s “Birthday Song”—which was certified two-time platinum and hit the Billboard Hot 100 in 2012— Just a perfect example. The song appeared on 2 Chainz Based’s TRU Story debut and helped him become the rap star he is today. Now, this objectively bad but catchy line has become one that fans scream loudly.

However, bad wire can also have the opposite effect. When Rick Ross raps at the infamous bar: “Put Molly all in her champagne, she don’t even know it/I took her home, I enjoyed it, she don’t even know it,” The counterattack against him was quick. The line, which appears in Rocko’s 2013 song “UOENO,” didn’t go over well at first because it made Ross appear to support date rape. However, the bar was so disgusted that Rozai was eventually forced to re-record and apologize. The line is now infamous and briefly tarnished Rozai’s image.

The point is that words have power, but sometimes those words aren’t good. XXL asked readers to list some of the dumbest rap lyrics they’ve heard in years. Below are their impressive lyrics, which include lyrics from Drake, Kodak Black, Blueface and more.
