Travis Scott and Jackboys release Jackboys 2 albums

Jackboys is back when Travis Scott and crew release a second tag compilation called Jackboys 2.

On Sunday (July 13), Laflame brought the gang together to put the sequel into their 2019 compilation Jackboys. Travis, Don Toliver, Sheck Wes, Chase B, Sofaygo and Wallie offer 17 songs in the brewing. BUN B hosts the project.

Since earlier this year, “Boy” has ridiculed the new album. In January, Don Toliver attracted interest in new projects when he released the trailer for his first album in his Instagram story. In March, Travis shared a trailer for new media on social media. In April, Travis teased the release with a tweet again: “Jackboys album Brazy I just broke out. Certified.” On May 1, he shared a trailer for the group project, along with clips from one of the tracks.

The crew raised expectations in July, with 21 savages in multiple promotional clips, Glorilla, Vaca Floka Flame, Kodak Black and others. On Monday (July 7), the Boys all played the song “Tours of 2000”. Travis revealed on Thursday (July 10) that the album will be played on July 13.

The timing of the album doesn’t seem to be accidental. The project arrived two days after the clip-on “Let God” category album. Pusha t dismissed Travis in June’s song “So”. Travis hasn’t shot back at the wax yet. But, getting off the car on the same day, snatching the album from the clipping fast to sell is probably his greatest Getback form.

Travis seems to be talking on his song “Champain & Vacay” and he rapping the beef, “I swear these old ni ** because I killed me/enjoyed 100 discounts and now it’s my phone call on DND.”

Together with the album, Travis released the film of the same name, directed by Harmony Korine. The original Jackboys album ranked No. 1 on the Billboard 200 rankings.

In addition to the new Jackboys 2 album, Travis Scott is reportedly working on his next solo project, the follow-up to 2023 Utopia. He teased the product in a March interview with the French art, fashion and culture magazine Numéro Homme.

“My new project has become as crazy as it is,” Travis revealed. “But for the moment, I still have to keep it secret.”
