The King of the South is back with a new project to satisfy fans and it’s called Kill the King. The project is an 18-track LP featuring artists such as Summer Walker, Anderson .Paak, 2 Chainz, Young Dro, T-Pain, Jeezy and more.
Just recently, TI shared his podcast platform “Expeditiously” with partner T-Pain, busting the myth behind his name. Finally, T.I. clarified that his name was not an abbreviation for “Target Individual” as T-Pain assumed, but simply a shortened version of his nickname “Tip” so that he could distinguish himself from the artist Q-Tip.
The latest album, released on the Grand Hustle LLC / EMPIRE label, sees TI exploring bravado, vulnerability and legacy in a project that continues to experiment. It’s a powerful reminder of TI’s place in the music industry, and the project itself speaks for itself. Check it out below!
