A lawsuit filed against T.I. and his wife, Tameka “Tiny” Harris, alleging sexual assault in 2005, has been dismissed in court.
Sexual assault lawsuit against Tip and Tiny dismissed
On Thursday (August 8), TI and Tiny learned that the sexual assault lawsuit filed against them by Jane Doe in March had been dismissed in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California. Judge Sherlyn Garnett dismissed the case more than a month after the couple’s attorneys filed a motion to dismiss, citing statutes of limitations and a lack of evidence, according to court documents obtained by XXL on Friday (August 9).
Representatives for TI and Tiny told XXL, “The court agrees with Tip and Tameka that Jane Doe does not appear to have any viable claims. As Tip and Tameka stated three years ago, these accusations are only part of a long line of false, salacious accusations.” Throw it to the media in an attempt to extort money from them on the cheap.

Litigation Limbo finally ends
The lawsuit has hung over the celebrity couple for years. The unnamed plaintiff first threatened to sue in 2021 and took action earlier this year. The woman claimed she attended a party at Coolio’s home in 2005, where she met a man named Caviar, who she said was employed by TI. Jane Doe and a friend allegedly hooked up with Caviar, TI and Tiny at a club in Los Angeles the next night. During the outing, the woman believed Tiny gave her a spiked drink.
The woman went on to claim that after she and the couple returned to the hotel, she began to feel dizzy and passed out after protesting the physical sexual assault by the couple. She claims she was woken up by security the next day with “severe pain in her vagina.”
When news of the lawsuit broke, TI denied the claims. “Our position is clear,” he said in a statement. “We are innocent of these false accusations, we will not be shaken and we look forward to our day in court.”
Tip made headlines earlier this week when he was arrested on Sunday (August 4) at Atlanta’s Hartsfield-Jackson International Airport in a case of mistaken identity.
