The dispute reportedly began when Richey tried to drag her to the back of the car when he snatched Chanell’s phone and escalated.

She claimed he threatened his life, saying, “If you call the police, I’d better kill you.”

A video from the night of the incident seemed to show Richey grabbing Chanell’s phone during a March 30 argument in a parking lot outside Sekai nightclub.

After a moment he walked towards her again, and a group of bystanders and a mutual friend intervened to stop the situation from getting worse.

Real Boston Richey now faces felony domestic violence charges and separate theft charges related to the phone incident, according to the media.

Richey has not issued any public statement since the report surfaced. But the rapper’s social media is full of bounce, with many condemning his alleged action in the comments on the latest post.
