The infamous Big’s publishing and publicity rights are reportedly sold for $100 million to $150 million.

Biggie’s copyright order huge payday

On Friday (February 28), the Hollywood Reporter called the main wave of music publishing companies a potential buyer. The rapper’s short catalogue and his main rights are also $100 million, and their main rights have raised another $30 million to $50 million. Sources say the deal will cover 50% of the publishing and sovereignty of the late rapper and add propaganda rights, which include images, voice and other identifiable features such as outstanding song lyrics. The deal is reportedly due to be completed in the next few weeks.

The roster of the Primary Wave late artist catalog includes Bob Marley, Whitney Houston, Luther Vandross and more.

XXL has been exposed to major Wave and Biggie properties for comment.

Sales are after the death of Voletta Wallace

The pending sale only came just one week later, at the age of 78, at Biggie’s mother Voletta Wallace. Biggie’s mother died on February 21 in Straudsburg, Pennsylvania. She died of natural causes.

Before her death, Ms. Wallace had run the property of New York rapper Brooklyn after the 1997 murder. In 2011, she signed a license agreement with her brand sensory partners to manage Brooklynian names and similarities to manage licenses and merchandise. According to TMZ, through her business migration, she helped Biggie’s estimated value increase from $10 million to $160 million.

Biggie’s real estate is currently represented by Mark Pitts and Wayne Barrow of Bystorm Entertainment.
