Post Malone’s tattoo found a new home on Swift’s face during their collaboration on Fortnight.
The black-and-white visual debuted on Friday night (April 19), the same day the song was released, as Taylor’s 11th studio album The Tortured Poets Department was released.
In the film, Taylor is handcuffed to a wall-mounted bed in a psychiatric ward as she sings about being a functioning alcoholic over a synth-heavy beat. A nurse came in and gave the singer a pill, which she swallowed, and Taylor’s handcuffs were removed. She jumped out of bed and walked over to look in the mirror. When Taylor started wiping her face with a towel, tattoos appeared on her face, but not just any ink: They were the same tattoos that Post Malone usually has.
In the film, Post types out love letters to Taylor on a typewriter, and she does the same to him. There was also a time when his face didn’t have any of the usual ink. Real Mr. Clean. Post even gets up close and personal with Taylor in a surprising scene filled with chemistry.
