Swizz Beatz sprinkled tea during his 15-year marriage to Alicia Keys in a recent interview, revealing the unexpected secrets behind their enduring romance.
The Grammy-winning producer explains that the key to a successful alliance comes down to a simple and powerful word: communication.
“Marriage is definitely a big word, but look at your best friend,” Sweetz said in an interview with Us Weekly. “Communication is there. We never argue. Our children have ever been together since we were together.” [have] Never seen us raising our voice [or] Never seen us yell. Never seen us curse each other. Why? Because of communication. ”
Swizz Beatz’s real name is Kasseem Dean, who emphasizes that the yelling game is meaningless.
“When you yell at each other, no one is really listening,” he added. “Scream at each other.”

He also offers new perspectives on relationships, warning against treating his partner as property.
“People think they can own people. You can’t. It’s not the property you own. There’s one, right?” Sweetz continued. “So, we know very well about that. She is her own boss. I am my own boss. That’s how we make magic magic when we’re together. I think it helps because people start to become very territorial and make their partner property, which I think is the biggest mistake.”

The couple’s relationship initially sparked controversy. They got together when Swizz was still married to his first wife, Mashonda Tifrere. Despite a tough start, they are one of the music’s most popular couples.
In May 2010, the two announced their engagement and revealed that they were looking forward to their first child. They were married at an intimate ceremony held in Corsica on July 31, 2010, hosted by their close friend and spiritual writer Deepak Chopra.
The couple welcomed their first son, Daoud Dean, in October 2010, followed by their second son, Genesis Ali Dean, December 27, 2014.
Swizz also has three children from previous relationships – Prince Nasir, Kasseem Jr. and Nicole, who blend their family into a lively mixed family.
In addition to their personal bonds, the duo also shared their chemistry in the studio and collaborated on multiple projects that demonstrated their combined talents.
