Stunna Girl was arrested Thursday night in North Carolina after failing to appear in court on 2017 trespassing and resisting charges.
Rapper Stunna Girl was arrested in North Carolina on Thursday night after police pulled her over during a traffic stop and discovered an outstanding warrant from a case that dates back nearly a decade.
The Morrisville Police Department took the Sacramento artist into custody while she was riding in a black-and-white Mercedes.
The traffic stop resulted in her being booked into the detention center for failing to appear in court on a previous charge, according to police reports.
The missed court date stems from a 2017 arrest in which Stuna was charged with trespassing and resisting a public officer. Court documents show she had failed to appear in court on at least two previous occasions in the same case.
She will appear in court again on July 28.
But the arrest didn’t depress her for long. She was released hours later after posting $3,500 bail, records show.
Stunna has returned to Instagram to post updates for her fans on Friday.
She’s still scheduled to perform at a nightclub in Oakland, Calif., on Saturday, signaling she won’t let legal troubles slow her momentum.
