Snoop Dogg is finally getting his own biopic, a long-awaited move from fans who wanted to see the rapper’s rise to prominence in the film. Snoop himself serves as a producer on the film, along with Brian Grazer and Death Row Records.
Directed by Craig Brewer and starring Jonathan Davis as Snoop Dogg, the title of the film is still under wraps. “I wish I could give you more details,” Snoopy said, without being able to provide any real details.
He did say, however, that “we’ll be back at CinemaCon next year with a trailer,” before changing tack and speaking about other concurrent projects.
