SlimeLife Shawty became a well-known figure in the hop hop community on Wednesday. The rapper took the stand to testify in the ongoing Young Thug case. He admitted on the witness stand that when he first joined YSL, he was treated like a gang member. SlimeLife Shawty also read an edited social media message that caused confusion for the defense. Young Thug’s legal team is asking for a mistrial due to Shawty’s actions. Like all artists who testified in the YSL case, SlimeLife Shawty was ridiculed and ridiculed online. However, he decided to fight back.
SlimeLife Shawty posted an Instagram story the night he testified. He posted an ominous message that read “Y’all so stupid,” followed by a longer post. The YSL member claimed that despite testifying in court, he did not snitch on Young Thug. “I have to tell anyone to duck nigga,” he wrote. “Every nigga like me is glad the belt came off the back.” SlimeLife Shawty focused on two people in particular, whom he threatened to tag in follow-up posts. “I can @ both of you and make you both remember,” he pointed out.

The rapper tried to end it all on a positive note, writing, “I’m chill but I love you all.” He may not be a household name to those following Young Thug’s case, but Shawty has been involved from the beginning. In 2022, he was arrested along with Thugger and other members of the YSL team.
