PARTYNEXTDOOR is booming right now. The singer’s new album, P4, has been well received by fans, with many praising its production and sticky melodies. Considering PND’s quiet form in the first half of the 2020s, this is something of a comeback for him. Thankfully, he seized the moment. On April 29, the OVO veteran announced that he would be touring in the second half of the year, and it’s exactly what fans wanted. The tour is titled “Sorry I’m Out There,” and comes with an appropriately moody trailer.
The trailer is less than 50 seconds long and matches the aesthetic of PND’s new album. It’s a montage of images and moments that blend PND’s recording sessions in Hollywood with life in Toronto. We even see the Hollywood sign replaced at one point with the title of the lead single “Real Woman.” A spinning clip then shows a group of people chanting the chorus of the DMX classic “Party Up (Up In Here).” It didn’t provide any date, but PND confirmed they will be released on April 30 via Instagram. As far as trailers go, this one works pretty well.

PARTYNEXTDOOR tour named after a new song
PARTYNEXTDOOR is notorious for being shy, but he’s always pushing himself to perform more. His non-existent touring schedule has ramped up post-pandemic, including stops at Rolling Loud in California, Souled Out in Australia and SXSS in Texas. His manager, Tyler Henry, spoke about the explicit decision to increase the number of shows the singer performs in a Billboard profile in March. “We like to do a few every year to make sure our content is fresh and in people’s minds,” he explains. “When moments like this album come, it keeps us sharp.”
PARTYNEXTDOOR says P4 is his most talked about album to date. “This is the hardest I’ve ever worked on an album. It’s the thing I’m most proud of,” he told the outlet. “I’m excited to work harder in the coming days [one]. I love the effort you put into it.
