NLE The Great (née NLE Choppa) recently revealed the reasoning behind his awkward moment with Jonathan Majors while speaking with him on Kirk Franklin’s YouTube show.
TMZ caught up with the rapper on Friday (October 17) and asked him about the viral moment from a recent episode of Den of Kings, where Majors bluntly told NLE to read the Bible again when the rapper questioned Christian practices.
“I don’t think it’s a problem for the Grand Slams,” NLE told TMZ. “I did feel nervous doing interviews on his behalf because I had said complimentary things publicly. [his reported wife] Meghan is happy with her appearance and stuff. “
“I respect any union you have,” the NLE continued. “There were moments during the interview that felt forced. The way he brought her into the equation felt unnatural… I just know what was going on behind the scenes. I know it was something he was pressured into.”
In 2023, shortly before Meagan Good and Jonathan Majors started dating, NLE The Great took a shot at Meagan Good during an interview with Jason Lee on Hollywood Unlocked. Megan responded by saying the rapper was too young for her. However, he continued to flirt with the actress on social media, much to the chagrin of the mother of his child, who called him lustful for the actress.
