Megan Thee Stallion is challenging a $1.2 million styling lawsuit, claiming an internal audit uncovered questionable expenses.
Megan Thee Stallion is fighting back after being sued for more than $1.2 million over alleged unpaid wardrobe and styling fees. Meg argued that the invoice at the center of the dispute was filled with questionable, unverifiable charges.
The Houston rapper is being sued in Los Angeles County Superior Court by stylist Eric Archibald and his company Six K. The lawsuit alleges that Meghan and several of her business entities failed to pay for wardrobe services provided between January 2024 and August 2025.
According to the complaint, Archibald was hired to oversee styling for a series of appearances and events related to the Grammy-winning artist. The plaintiffs allege that they submitted invoices to Megan’s affiliates from January 2025 to January 2026, with each invoice supported by a transaction memo purportedly confirmed via email.
Court documents show the total amount owed is $1,243,501.98.
Among the documents cited in the lawsuit is a detailed bill related to the inaugural Pitt and Thomas Foundation Gala in New York City. The total price tag for the styling memo was reportedly $53,800, which included prep day fees, assistant fees and the cost of multiple gowns worn during the event.
Archibald and Six K claim they spent nearly two years trying to collect the money before taking legal action.
“Despite numerous unsuccessful attempts by Six K to resolve the payment issues over the past two years, there is no immediate direction toward a settlement between the parties,” the complaint states.
The lawsuit also claims that the unpaid balance caused professional and personal hardship, particularly because some of the money allegedly owed was related to third-party vendors.
But Meghan didn’t back down.
In a statement provided to People, the rapper denied the allegations and accused Archibald’s team of providing questionable billing records discovered during an internal review.
“My finance team conducted a comprehensive audit of Eric Archibald’s wardrobe expenses and discovered fraudulent invoices, unsubstantiated charges, and style shipments associated with unverifiable addresses. These findings raise serious concerns about the legitimacy of the expenses, which we have attempted to confirm privately with Eric’s team on multiple occasions.
