A man is about to receive a $1.2 million judgment against rapper Quavo after he was slapped in the face in Las Vegas.
According to documents obtained by XXL, Antonio Lamar Henry filed documents in Fulton County Superior Court in Georgia on May 22 seeking to enforce a money judgment against Quavo, born Quavious Marshall, in connection with an assault in Las Vegas.
In September 2024, a Las Vegas jury ordered Quavo to pay Henry $682,000 in compensatory and punitive damages in a lawsuit stemming from Henry’s claims that he suffered mental and physical harm when he was slapped by the Migos rapper while working as a waiter at the Encore Hotel & Casino in Las Vegas in 2018. Quavo has denied any wrongdoing in the case. The Atlanta rapper’s attorneys accused Henry of treating Henjo as a “hip-hop lottery ticket” and offered no evidence that he was slapped.
The Nevada court issued a final judgment on March 21, 2025, according to Henry’s latest court filing, which added that Quavo and his co-defendants Romondo Arkell Brooks and Lance Lavar Limerick are jointly and severally liable for the entire payment. Therefore, he wants the Georgia court to recognize the Nevada award under the state’s Uniform Enforcement of Foreign Judgments Act.
Henry seeks $509,468.78 in compensatory damages and $150,000 in punitive damages, as well as $169,443.56 in prejudgment interest. In addition, he is seeking $274,164.50 in legal fees and $95,695.84 in various court-related costs, for a total of $1,198,772.68.
