A man has been arrested after allegedly trying to invade Drake’s Toronto property.
Man arrested for trying to break into front door of Drake property
XXL confirmed to Toronto police that a man was arrested outside Drake’s “Embassy” home in Toronto on Wednesday (May 8).
“Police were called after someone attempted to enter the property,” a TPD representative told XXL. “The individual was arrested under the Mental Health Act.”
According to TMZ , police were called to Drake’s Bridle Road mansion after security guards intercepted a man trying to enter his home at the front door. The man allegedly told security when he arrived that he was “here to meet Drake.” The man then got into a brief fight with security and was detained until police arrived.

Drake’s security guard seriously injured in drive-by shooting
This is the second disturbing incident at Drake’s home in the past two days. On Tuesday (May 7), police released more details about the shooting that occurred outside Drake’s home earlier that morning. The victim was a 48-year-old security guard who witnesses said was shot in a drive-by attack at about 2:09 a.m.
According to reports, the security guard was shot in the upper chest and was unconscious when authorities arrived. He was taken to Sunnybrook Hospital in Toronto, where he underwent emergency surgery immediately upon arrival. Drake was not home at the time of either incident, but he has reportedly been seen in Toronto in recent days.
