On Friday (October 24), the estate of Mac Miller released three never-before-heard songs to mark the 10th anniversary of his critically acclaimed album GO:OD AM , delivering an emotional surprise to fans around the world.

Posthumously released albums include Vinny Radio’s “Royal Flush,” “Cable Box” and “Carpe Diem” – all recorded during the original GO:OD AM sessions in 2015.

“These tracks represent Malcolm’s artistic vision at his most creative period,” the estate said in a statement. The Pittsburgh rapper died in 2018 at the age of 26, leaving behind a pile of unreleased material that continues to surface years after his death.

Mac Miller’s frequent collaborators ID Labs (Pittsburgh mainstays) produced “Cable Box” and “Royal Flush,” maintaining the sonic consistency that made GO:OD AM a fan favorite. The album initially debuted at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart and marked Miller’s transition from party rap to more introspective hip-hop.

Vinny Radio, who appeared on “Royal Flush,” has been a long-time collaborator in Miller’s circle. The song showcases the chemistry between the two Pittsburgh artists, with Radio’s vocals complementing Miller’s signature flow.

The 10th Anniversary Edition also includes new animated visuals by Danaé Gosset, who worked on Miller’s Balloon Project and Star Chamber (the OG version). Director Sam Balaban contributed fresh visuals to the original album track, including footage from Justin Boyd and Rex Arrow.

GO:OD AM represents Malcolm’s reawakening,” a source close to the estate said. “After battling drug addiction, his eyes became clearer and he was more focused. These bonus tracks capture that same energy. “

The surprise announcement sent shockwaves across social media, with #MacMiller trending globally and fans sharing their emotional reactions to hearing new music from the beloved artist.

Miller’s estate has been methodical in releasing posthumous material, ensuring that each project respects his artistic integrity. Previous releases include 2020’s “Circles” and “Balloonerism” earlier this year, both of which were critically acclaimed.

The anniversary edition of GO:OD AM is a reminder of Miller’s lasting impact on hip-hop culture and his ability to connect with fans through raw, honest storytelling.
