Prosecutors in Lil Durk’s federal murder-for-hire trial secured a major win today, August 14, 2026, after a judge ruled that Durk’s lyrics and music video for “Pissed Me Off” can be used as direct evidence before the jury. Judge Michael Fitzgerald denied defense objections, saying the lyrics show “intent and motive.” The trial is set for September 22 in Central District of California.
The lyrics in question include “I got murders on my mind” and video imagery of OTF members pointing weapons. Prosecutors argue the song was released 2 days after the alleged plot to kill Quando Rondo was hatched.
